Quebec, Monday, May 8, 2023 — Libéo announces the appointment of Alexandre Limoges as President of the company. A partner at Libéo since 2017, Mr. Limoges has held strategic roles as Director of the Montreal office, Director of Business and Partnerships, and most recently, co-visionary of the company.

He succeeds Joé Bussière, who, with twenty years of experience within the organization, now wishes to focus on his other company, Média Happy Geeks, owner of Showbizz.net and Cinoche.com. After more than five years as a managing director, including the last two working closely with the outgoing president, it became clear to the Board that Alexandre Limoges was the ideal candidate to continue the company’s mission.

“Alexandre is a born leader with excellent strategic vision. He has shown this well over the past two years, while he was involved as a co-visionary with me. I am very confident in the future of Libéo. The company has just had a fantastic year, and I know its future is in good hands,” says Mr. Bussière.

A passionate entrepreneur with a degree in engineering
Graduate from Concordia University in engineering, Alexandre Limoges founded iTx Technologies, a web and mobile application development firm in 2008 and led the company as president for nearly 10 years. He joined the ranks of Libéo following the acquisition of his company in 2017. His impact within Libéo was quickly felt, both in terms of strategic vision and engaged leadership.

Thus, Mr. Limoges begins his presidency with the feeling of having contributed to Libéo’s success in recent years and advocates for continuity in the coming months. By relying on a strong management committee and the recent strategic directions he has proposed, the company will ensure sustained and diversified growth in the coming years.

“Joé and the entire team welcomed me with open arms in 2017 when my company was acquired. Being part of the Libéo team was already a great source of pride for me. It is with this confidence and energized by my appointment as president that I intend to continue the work already started and the pursuit of our mission: to unlock the full digital potential of our clients,” says the company’s new president.

Jean-François Rousseau, who founded Libéo more than 25 years ago, remains a shareholder in the company while dedicating his time to the startup Konek, which he has led since 2019. It should be noted that Jean-François hired Joé as the first employee in 2002 before becoming a partner with him shortly after. “Joé had a profound impact right from the start at Libéo. He has built an innovative culture that puts people and the community at the center of our commitments. I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart for his dedication over the years and for his many contributions to the company,” emphasizes Mr. Rousseau.
